The youth of the St. George Cathedral in Stockholm held their first meeting for the fall on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at a nearby café following the Divine Liturgy. Metropolitan Cleopas of Sweden was on hand for this meeting, together with Cathedral parish priest Fr. Bartholomew Iatridis and Metropolis Youth Director Mr. Nikolaos Kitsios.

They were joined by young men and women, who expressed their enthusiasm over the resumption of their regular spiritual gatherings, to which each participant attributes different qualities, such as it serving as a focal point, enlightening their daily lives, promoting fellowship, reminding the youth of their purpose, and all of this mixed in with entertainment.

Furthermore, the second meeting of the youth was held on Thursday, September 17, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. at the Cathedral Library. The theme of the meeting was Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross, presented by His Eminence.

Meanwhile, the first outing of the season has been planned for November 6-7, 2020 at the St. Nicholas Hermitage in Rättvik.
